The recipient of the Outstanding Member Award will be decided by the general membership. The nomination form should be emailed, typewritten or in legible handwriting submitted to:

Ballots will be taken up until May 1, 2018 then the membership will vote by secret ballot at the May meeting and the awards will be presented at the June Awards Banquet.

The Outstanding Member Award is a service award that recognizes an individual who demonstrates outstanding service to their dog club. The recipient has provided service above and beyond the call of duty to the Atlanta Obedience Club. Previous nominees have been chosen for their service in such areas as officers and Board Members, training instructors, stewards, judges, committee members and just general “helpers” - people that help with any job, no matter how large or small, important of unimportant. Members that are awarded the Outstanding Member Award are involved members.
